Implementation of European charter of regional or minority languages in Slovak Republic

| This article provides a brief overview of the implementation of the charter. Among what the author sees as one of the weaknesses of the charter is that the publication of legal documents in a minority language is not done by the state but is privately financed. It argues that as well as the unevenness of the law there is also a lack of awareness among the minority groups it supposedly concerns. |
