This paper describes the evolution of Romania’s banking system over the last decade.
The first part is a short description of the banking system and highlights some of its characteristics such as the type of organization, quality and range of banking products, and
competition. The second part assesses the performance of banks in the Romanian economy. The third part is focused on actions aimed to promote the stable expansion of banking in Romania. |
