| This paper presents a highly detailed socio-economic analyses dealing with the demographic potential, labour market and infrastructure of the region. In addition it deals with the human development in housing, health care etc. The paper argues that for change to take place long held views, typified by the most frequently used argument “ it is impossible”, need to be overcome. |
