Public administration reform in Slovak Republic - management of the process

Nižňanský, Viktor and Pilát, Jaroslav
This article argues that frequent change of government in Slovakia between 1990 and 2001 has resulted in a lack of continuity of purpose. It claims that there is a need for more efficient public administration. Despite this and the political differences within the country the author sees the desire to join the EU and NATO as something which has held things together.
