| Based on information from interviews, the authors look at the factors they believe are behind the recent Roma migration from Slovakia to EU countries. It compares the situation between the past, when communist regimes tried to impose equality, and the present. As well as trying to identify the causes of migration the article states that Roma migration has increased tensions in Slovakia as the majority group see this as a threat to EU membership. |
